Drake's third album, "Nothing Was the Same," officially dropped today (Sept. 24), but the Internet has already been buzzing about the album for the past week after it leaked online Sunday, Sept. 15. ?
Drake's often emotional, melody-driven songs have fueled a great deal of online conversation about the song's lyrics, much of which have taken place on lyrics annotations mega-hub Rap Genius. So much in fact, that Rap Genius saw it's highest traffic day to date in its four years of operation the day after the album leaked as Team Drizzy flocked in droves to the site to figure out the perfect lyric to cryptically text to an ex-boyfriend or girlfriend.

Drake, 'Nothing Was The Same': Track-By-Track Review

Literally though… Drake is coming through on his Wu-Tang, because he borrows "it's yours" from Wu's '97 triumphant hit "It's Yourz"(which was originally sampled from "It's Yours" by T La Rock & Jazzy Jay). Wu's track was more of a motivational call to action, whereas Drizzy is claiming the game and whatever this girl's got to give.

Alternatively, this "good girl" might feel she has to act a certain way around Drake, but he still sees her for what she really is, good. No need to play "bad", he likes her as she is.???

Drake doesn't find your art inspiring, and people are just lying/caught up in the hype. This could be a response to Kendrick Lamar on his "Control" verse, where he called out Drake along with many other rappers, saying, "I got love for you all but I'm tryna murder you niggas." While Kendrick's verse was seen positively by some for encouraging others to step up their game, Drake doesn't seem to agree with those statements.

As to why he put it in the song? Maybe to emphasize that he just happened to be able to make money off of his widely popular persona, much like Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaandy.
Alternatively, this could be a reference to Drake's music: he's just released a series of free tracks and now that his album is about to come out, folks gotta pay for that music.
This sample along with everything after Big Sean's verse was removed from the album version of the song, possibly stemming from clearance issues.
